2. Information I Collect
When you send an enquiry, I may collect:
- your name and email address
- your preferred tour date
- the number of guests
- your preferred language
- whether your visit marks a special occasion
- your interests and wishes
- any other information you choose to include in your message
If we make a booking, I will also process the information needed to confirm and administer the tour, issue an invoice and record your payment.
Please do not send medical or other sensitive personal information unless it is genuinely necessary. If you have accessibility requirements, it will normally be enough to tell me what practical adjustments would make the tour work well for you.
When you visit the website, the website and hosting systems may also process technical information such as your IP address, browser information, requested pages and timestamps where necessary to operate, protect and secure the website.
3. Why I Use Your Information
I use your information to:
- respond to your enquiry
- plan and personalise your tour
- communicate with you about the arrangements
- confirm and administer your booking
- issue invoices and record payments
- meet accounting and other legal obligations
- deal with questions or complaints relating to your booking
- operate and protect the website
When you enquire about or book a tour, I process the information needed to take the steps you have requested and, once a booking has been made, to fulfil our agreement.
Where information must be retained for accounting or other legal purposes, I process it because I am required to do so by law.
Technical information necessary to operate and protect the website is processed on the basis of my legitimate interest in providing a secure and reliable website.
4. Website Statistics
I use Plausible Analytics to understand how mortensencph.dk is used — for example which pages are visited, where visitors arrive from and whether important actions such as enquiries are completed.
Plausible provides aggregate website statistics without setting cookies or using persistent identifiers. Raw IP addresses are not stored, and the service is not used to follow individual visitors across websites or devices.
5. Who May Receive or Process Your Information?
I do not sell your personal information.
Where necessary, information may be processed by service providers I use to operate Mortensen CPH, including:
- website hosting and email providers
- systems used to operate the website and enquiry form
- invoicing and bookkeeping providers
- the secure payment provider used for card payments
- banks involved in bank transfers
These providers receive only the information necessary for the service they provide.
I may also disclose information where I am legally required to do so.
6. How Long I Keep Your Information
Enquiries that do not result in a booking are normally deleted when I no longer need them, and ordinarily no later than 12 months after our last contact.
Information relating to confirmed bookings is kept for as long as reasonably necessary to administer the booking and deal with any subsequent questions.
Invoices, payment records and other information forming part of my accounting records are kept for the period required by Danish bookkeeping law.
Technical logs used for website operation and security are kept only for as long as they are needed for those purposes.
7. Your Rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to ask me to:
- give you access to the personal information I hold about you
- correct inaccurate information
- delete information
- restrict how information is processed
- provide certain information in a portable format
- object to certain types of processing
These rights are subject to some legal exceptions. For example, I cannot delete information that I am legally required to retain.
If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please contact me at henrik@mortensencph.dk.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).
8. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Mortensencph.dk uses only cookies or similar technologies that are technically necessary for the operation and security of the website.
Website statistics are provided through Plausible Analytics, which does not set cookies or use persistent identifiers.
9. Changes to This Policy
I may update this Privacy Policy when necessary. The current version will always be available on mortensencph.dk.
